Commissioner Graziano Discusses Baltimore’s Plan for Affordable Housing
(Baltimore, MD) - Commissioner Paul Graziano was invited to present at the annual Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation (IRHP) & The Institute for Professional and Executive Development's (IPED) Affordable Housing Preservation Conference in Chicago, IL May 9-10, 2012.
Industry experts and some of the most experienced developers, financiers, technical experts, policy makers, and advocates who are redefining the preservation of the nation's affordable housing stock led the conference.
"It was an honor to share the great work we're doing here Baltimore with leading professionals from around the country," said Commissioner Paul T. Graziano. "Cities all around the country face similar housing challenges, and look to Baltimore as a leader when it comes to create affordable housing."
Commissioner Graziano addressed the challenges facing Baltimore and the solutions the agency has created to address Baltimore's unique market in the midst of an evolving economy, as well as, growing federal and state deficits.
