YouthBuild
What is it?
YouthBuild is a program that assists high-risk youth to learn housing construction job skills and complete their high school education. Youth who participate in YouthBuild receive a combination of classroom academic, job skills development and on-site training in a construction trade. As a participant, you will enhance your skills as you construct and/or rehabilitate affordable housing for low-income and homeless persons or families while earning a GED.
Who is eligible?
Youth 18 to 21 who are interested in earning a GED and learning a trade in the construction industry.
What are the benefits?
Learn a trade while receiving a stipend and earn your GED.
How much does it cost?
The program is free to eligible youth.
