Outreach Community Computer Labs (Senior Cybernet Program)
What is it?
The mission of the program is to educate and empower elderly and non-elderly in the use of computers while providing them access to the world through the Internet. The Outreach Community Computer Labs are located in the following mixed-population high-rise sites:
Allendale
Bel-Park
Bernard E. Mason
Brentwood Homes
Chase House
Ellerslie
Govans Manor
Heritage Crossing
Lakeview Towers
McCulloh Homes
Monument-East
Pleasant View Gardens
Primrose Place
Rosemont Towers
Wyman House
Who is eligible?
Baltimore Public Housing elderly and non-elderly residents residing within one of the mixed-population buildings.
What are the benefits?
By participating, elderly and non-elderly receive access to computers, training in various software programs, email and the Internet. The program empowers elderly and non-elderly through new forms of communication and fosters greater community involvement.
How much does it cost?
Services are at no cost to eligible elderly and non-elderly residents.
