Neighborhood Network Centers (NNC)
What is it?
The Neighborhood Network Centers expand educational opportunities and promote economic self-sufficiency by offering a full range of Internet-based technical, educational and job training services for public housing residents. Located on various public housing developments, the Centers offer access to e-mail, computer-based job search, life-skills and job readiness training for adults and after school homework assistance and mentoring for youth.
Who is eligible?
Residents of Baltimore public housing only.
What are the benefits?
Residents receive a full range of computer, job training services, and educational opportunities to prepare them for future job requirements and employment.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost.
