HABC Child Care Program
What is it?
The Baltimore Housing Child Care Program offers infant and toddler care, Head Start, pre-school, and school-age care.. To ensure optimal growth and care of each child served, our developmentally age-appropriate curriculums combine supervised playtime with educational activities that stress cognitive, emotional and social development.
The Child Care Center is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education. Services are available Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Children receive breakfast, lunch and a snack at no additional cost.
Who is eligible?
Children ages three months through twelve.
What are the benefits?
Children thrive in a safe, educational, nurturing and affordable environment that is supervised by professional staff who are credentialed by the Maryland State Department of Education. Children grow socially and emotionally by participating in structured education and recreation programs with a group of peers.
How much does it cost?
Child Care is available at monthly, daily and hourly rates. Department of Social Services child care vouchers are also accepted.
