Baltimore Housing's Office of Permits & Building Inspections enforces the Baltimore City Building Code, as well as state laws pertaining to construction and occupancy. This office issues building permits and provides subsequent inspections for; construction, alteration, electrical, mechanical and plumbing work in both commercial and residential structures. 2013 Building Code Updates

Announcement: e-Plans Upgrade!

This month, Baltimor's e-Plans review system will be undergoing an upgrade that will improve its functionality. This upgrade will include a number of enhancements requested by customers, including improved compatibility with Apple operating systems.

In order to make these changes, we will be shutting down the e-Plans system from noon on Friday March 28th through Sunday March 30th. The new version of the system will be accessible beginning Monday March 31st.

Thank you for your patience as this upgrade is implemented. We look forward to providing customers with a new and improved version of e-Plans!
