The Housing Authority of Baltimore City issued a Request for Qualification in August for the redevelopment of HABC scattered-site units. The current inventory of roughly 76 units in 46 properties throughout the neighborhood will be totally rehabilitated with a combination of public and private dollars.
Upon completion, the project will produce:
40 units of high-quality affordable rental public housing in a revitalizing neighborhood A mix of additional affordable and market-rate rent units 4 affordable homeownership units.
All units will be under private management and integrated into community life.
No HABC Scattered-Site residents will be permanently displaced through this process.
