Office of Facilities Management

The Office of Facilities Management is responsible for HABC and HCD office space design and construction (including furniture needs and space standards); HABC and HCD non-residential real estate needs (including leases and commercial space); HABC's safety programs; and HABC archiving and file retention activities.

Facility Planning and Real Estate
- OFM shall process requests for the following: 1. the reconfiguration or the expansion of office and warehouse space; 2. standard furniture and systems furniture; and 3. office leases and real estate needs. No space may be leased, changed, modified or reconfigured without the approval of OFM. OFM staff shall assure that requests and the processing of such requests adhere to the HABC's approved Design Criteria and Office Standard Guidelines.

Safety - OFM shall provide safety rules and regulations for resident fire drills as well as staff OSHA regulations. The Safety Officer works with Operations and HABC's insurers to provide a safe and controlled environment for our residents and staff.

Archive/Records Management:

OFM is responsible for maintaining the archive files for HABC. The Archive Facility is located at 3701 Duncanwood Lane. The Archive Facility is a records management facility that store file boxes that can be retrieved for future use. In addition, based upon a retention schedule, the file boxes will be destroyed at a specific date. To utilize OFM's records management system, click here.
