Baltimore Housing Division of Green, Healthy and Sustainable Homes (DGHS)
The Division of Green, Healthy and Sustainable Homes is a part of the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development that assists Baltimore families in becoming greener, healthier and more sustainable in their homes through a wide range of holistic housing services. Within DGHS are four agencies:
Energy Conservation Services - offers energy-efficiency improvements for low- and moderate-income Baltimore households.
Office of Rehabilitation Services - offers emergency repairs to low- and moderate-income Baltimore homeowners
Lead Abatement Program - offers lead abatement services to households with lead paint hazards in the home
Homeownership Program - offers incentives to prospective homebuyers in Baltimore
LIGHT Program - offers case management and comprehensive benefits screenings to coordinate housing, health and financial services to Baltimore families
